International Airport in Simferopol
The complex represents ensemble of the new terminal, the landside and open parking. The building size is 126х252 m, height - 30 m. By means of a roof the covered area lit with the natural sunlight getting through skylights is formed in front of the building. The covering with skylights allows regulating the amount of solar and thermal energy and protects the facade from overheating.
Facades of the building are made of stained glass with low-emissivity glass. Perimetral glaring allows creating comfortable visual communications with the territory of the complex. In front of the building of the airport the area with a reservoir and the fountain is created - a place of attraction of visitors of the airport. The fountain, in its turn, creates a favorable microclimate and emotional comfort. Thanks to use of the water printer - the area has not only entertaining, but also informative character. Drops of the fountain are formed in the form of necessary inscriptions or signs.
